If you’re like us, you live in jeans, cozy sweaters and t-shirts that when new feel as worn and comfy as your old favourites.  In here lies the problem, how to feel as cozy as possible whilst occasionally dressing things up a bit for after-work drinks or a celebratory lunch.

It’s hard to know where to start but here are a few elevated basics to keep you feeling comfortable whilst looking polished.

1. The Luxurious Heel

A classic black pump is necessary in every closet but there is something to be said about a luxe, more detailed version of your everyday heel.  Pick a pair that are simple enough to wear season after season but also don some details that makes me a stand out piece. Try the Arnie Heels from Betts - currently only $44.99 - a steal!

Look for pullovers with a high quality cut and high quality fibres.  Think cashmere, wool or alpaca! Subtle detailing or an interesting cut always set a jumper apart from the rest! Try this Country Road Cable Batwing Knit for $104.25 great cut with a fun detail!

4. Detailed Trousers

We all have our go to skinnies and really, who can go wrong with back skinnies – it’s a staple! We can also appreciate detail in cut and fabric that makes a pair of pants a bit more special!  Try these skinny high-rise ankle jeans in Bowie Black by Nobody Denim found at Rouse Hill's Glue!
