Directed by Paul Feig, the reboot stars the hilarious Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate Mckinnon and Neil Casey.
The story begins when Erin Gilbert (Wigg) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) pen a book positing that ghosts are real. Years later, a teacher at Columbia University, Gilbert is laughed out when the book resurfaces. But wait, there's a silver lining! Kind of. Ghosts invade Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates reunite teaming up with a nuclear engineer (McKinnon) and a subway worker (Jones) to save the world from hilarious but very scary devil, Rowan (Casey).
The film is scary, funny and there's even a bit of eye candy (Chris Hemsworth plays the Ghostbusters' receptionist), there's even a Bill Murray cameo.
