Paris - The City of Love...

We all know Paris, La Tour Eiffel, Les Champs Elysees, le pain au chocolat, The Lourve. But there's a quiet, understated, unforgettable Paris that not many know. Here are our recommendations for discovering the Paris that few ever dare to explore.

Fondation le Corbusier

The modernist residence and work space of the 16th arrondissement are a reminder to tourists and Parisians alike that Paris was the birthplace of modern architecture.

Jardin des Serres d/Auteuil

These elaborate late 19th century greenhouses are devoted to steamy palms, an Great Expectations like aviary and pools of Japanese carp. Other greenhouses are filled with grouped orchids, succulents and rare trees. Sadly the site is soon to be demolished to make room for tennis courts so get there soon and don’t miss out!

Musee Marmottan - Claude Monet

This secret Paris gem is a Second Empire villa is hidden away on the quiet rue Louis-Boilly. Filled with a stunning collection of Empire furniture and true jewels of Impressionism (think Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Degas and Caillebotte).

Fly to Paris, fall in love, eat croissants in bed and discover your secret spots. Flights from $1,179 for a limited time at Flight Centre.
