The GPT Group has joined with the Sydney Hills Business Chamber to hold a special Rouse Hill Town Centre ‘Community Conversation’ event on 18 September to discuss the future of work – an issue which will progressively affect many people and businesses in the Hills region.

One in 2 Australians now fear losing their jobs as digital technologies increasingly replace workers in many industries. That means massive changes in our workforce and economy and we all need to prepare.

Workers, businesses, educators and governments will need to adapt. Parents and students will need to make careful decisions about their future career and education options.

Join with us to hear from keynote speakers - social researcher Mark McCrindle who lives and works in the Hills, and Dr Sean Gallagher, Director of Swinburne University’s Centre for the New Workforce who has just released a major study into the future of work in Australia.

This is a conversation we all need to have.
