Absolute Beginners, Seniors and Adult Ukulele

At Maxx Music we believe it’s never too late to enjoy music and it is never too late to become a musician. Our Music for Seniors and Adults program is created to give people the opportunity to meet like-minded people and to enjoy all the benefits that music can offer. Our groups are as much about the social aspects of music making as the music itself and are very friendly and welcoming. New members are always welcome. Why not join us?

Our Thursday Ukuleles will commence with a brand new Beginner Ukulele Group to provide you with all the basic skills you need to play almost anything! The sessions will be led by Sarah Maleckas, an experienced ukulele tutor and group leader. This friendly, welcoming group will meet each week to learn basic chords, simple strumming techniques whilst playing simple, well-known songs. Come and have fun playing together in this sociable group. No experience needed and you don't need to be able to read music. New members always welcome.
