Roast Spiced Chicken Wings
Ingredients and shopping list Serves 4
2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp Water
1 Tbsp Smoked paprika
2 Tsp Garlic powder
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tsp Dried oregano
2 Tsp Sea-salt flakes
1 Tsp Ground cumin
16 Chicken wings, wing tips removed
Sour Cream & Chive Sauce
½ Cup Sour cream
¼ Cup Finely chopped chives
Sea-salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper, to season
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC. Line a large oven tray with baking paper and put a large wire rack on top.
2. To make sour cream and chive sauce, combine ingredients in a serving bowl and season. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. Combine olive oil, water, paprika, garlic powder, honey, oregano, salt and cumin in a large bowl. Add chicken wings and toss well to coat. Arrange chicken on prepared wire rack, in a single layer. Roast for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
4. Serve chicken with sour cream and chive sauce.
